Getting offensive support from Alex Warner, the Baton Rouge Brass topped the Forest City Warriors, 11-4. Warner went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 5 for the Brass. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Brass.

Warner contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Baton Rouge in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Warner took a splitter from José Cruz and stroked the home run to right-center. His 14th home run of the season allowed the Brass to leap in front, 2-1.
