Syracuse picked up a win at Mamba Park, toppling the Austin Black Mambas, 6-3. Pitcher Jorge Torres was one of the reasons the Starks triumphed. The win has Syracuse at 21-38.

The Starks got a big hit from left fielder Justin Forbes. In the top of the fifth, Forbes pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 6th double of the season put the Starks ahead, 5-1.

"I'm trying to keep it simple," said Forbes. "Just do my job."
