Red Pandas Beat Fog, 6-4

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and Sunset District Fog.
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas weathered a fine game by Sunset District right fielder Daniel MacBrayne to upend the Fog, 6-4, at Fog Park. MacBrayne went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Qian Pei picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-1. He struck out 3 in 5.1 innings. Heath Hennington earned the save for Sioux Falls, his 11th.
Rupert Bethune hit a 2-run triple off Stewart Telfer in the top of the fifth, which put the Red Pandas in front, 4-3. Bethune had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 4.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Bethune told the Sioux Falls Daily.
The 'W' lifts Sioux Falls's record to 28-31.
