5-3 Loss Deepens Syracuse Funk
|
The Baton Rouge Brass defeated the Syracuse Starks, 5-3, in M3L Triple A action at Brass Field. Baton Rouge pitcher Bernardo López had a standout performance. With the win, Baton Rouge pushed its record to 32-21.
Leonard Tucker hit a run-scoring triple off John Lee in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Brass in front, 4-3. In addition to the triple, Tucker had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Tucker told the Baton Rouge Observer.
