The Hamilton Coyotes picked up a win at Coyote Wildlife Refuge, knocking off the Florida Men, 4-2. On the mound for Hamilton was right-hander Joseph Ferguson, who played a pivotal role in the win. George Atwater picked up the save, his 11th. At 21-30, the Coyotes find themselves in 10th place in the Menard's AAA.
Román Ramos made an early impact for Hamilton when he stroked his 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which came with one out in the bottom of the first, put the Coyotes on top, 2-0.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Hamilton skipper Mike Brown.
