Hodge Helps Pennsauken Cruise to 10-3 Win
|
The Pennsauken Flyers defeated the Salt Lake City Buzz, 10-3, at Pennsauken Park. Pennsauken first baseman Steve Hodge had a superb performance. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Pennsauken goes to 10-16, Salt Lake City to 8-18.
Rafael Barrueco dealt the Buzz a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Pennsauken leading 2-1, Barrueco, who is tied for 6th in the PAAA in triples with 1, hit a 2-2 curveball for a run-scoring single.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Barrueco.
