Starks Get 6-2 Win Versus Nolensville
|
Warren King was a major contributor to the 6-2 Syracuse win over Nolensville. The Starks center fielder went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Syracuse, at 18-27, holds down 11th place in the Menard's AAA.
King made an early impact for Syracuse when he stroked his 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Starks on top, 3-1.
"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," King said in reaction to the win.
