Starks Lose Again, 8-4, to Knights
The Nolensville Knights trumped the Syracuse Starks, 8-4, at Stark Stadium. Nolensville right fielder Nick McGhee was terrific. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Ken French earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. The losses continue to mount for Syracuse, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

Nolensville used a clutch hit from David Knight to snatch the win. The second baseman belted a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Knights ahead, 6-3. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Knight said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
