The Hialeah Dodos defeated the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-1, at Dodos Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Hialeah was second baseman Paul Pitts. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Mark Taylor got the win, improving to 2-0. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 4 and walking 0. The win gives Hialeah a record of 11-9.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Pitts, who leads the PAAA in triples with 2, hit a grand slam home run. It propelled the Dodos into the lead, 5-1.
