Pennsauken got a decent performance from pitcher Pete Miller, but it wasn't enough to beat the Hartford Pride. Hartford won the Pride Park contest, 4-1. Miller threw 5.1 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. Phat Tra, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. Hartford is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 4th win in 16 games.

Griffin Woodfinlevine aided the Hartford cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 2 with 2 doubles.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Pride manager Howard Dale. "This one was nice to get."
