Monongahela starter Beau Grant pitched well against the Plymouth Rocks at Plymouth Quarry. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-2. Picking up the save was Jeremy Harness, his 1st. The loss has the Rocks at 5-5.

Monongahela used the clutch hitting of Colt Allen to capture the win. The center fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Monsters ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
