The Baton Rouge Brass picked up a win at Brass Field, knocking off the Austin Black Mambas, 5-2. Starting pitcher Wing-chiu Che was a big reason why. The win puts Baton Rouge at 7-4.

Early in the game, second baseman Jamy Geertsen had a run-scoring double for Baton Rouge. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Brass on top, 1-0.
