Late Magic Gets Sunset District 4-2 Win
|
The Sunset District Fog picked up a win at Fog Park, knocking off the Hamilton Coyotes, 4-2. Starting pitcher Andy Dundee played a key role in the triumph. Sunset District reliever Foster McCoy got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Dong Zhào was tagged with the loss. Sunset District now has a record of 3-4.
Sunset District took a 3-2 lead on Kevin Neal's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Neal hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Hamilton pitcher Dong Zhào visibly frustrated.
Neal attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
