Flyers Lose to Monsters in Walk Off
|
Monongahela beat Pennsauken on the strength of starter Beau Grant's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. Monongahela has a record of 2-2.
Rashid Jeltkov was the walk-off hero for Monongahela. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Monsters left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Jeltkov said.
