Knights Deal Voodoo 5-0 Defeat
|
Pitcher Santiago Proximo was sensational for the Kingston Township Knights in his team's 5-0 triumph over the New Orleans Voodoo. Proximo picked up the win, and it was well-earned. The Knights sport a record of 13-23.
The game could have flipped with one out in the bottom of the fifth. But Santiago Proximo made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With runners on 1st and 3rd and New Orleans trailing 2-0, Proximo threw a fastball to Vicente Gonzáles and Gonzáles hit into a double play.
