Outlaws Take Down Browns, 4-3
|
Starting pitcher Paul Haines pitched well enough to help the Nashville Outlaws beat the Cleveland Browns, 4-3. Hank Lynn earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record is now 1-2. The Browns, at 8-14, have lost 5 in a row.
Nashville used a timely hit from Jong-yun Rhee to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Outlaws ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We take it day by day here," said Rhee, "and today was a good one for us."
