Browns Need Extra Innings to Top Knights, 4-3
|
The Cleveland Browns wiggled past the Kingston Township Knights, 4-3, at Factory of Sadness. The win was highlighted by the performance of Cleveland pitcher Lance Mascola. The loss drops Kingston Township to 1-7.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 13th inning, when Cleveland third baseman Pedro Durán, facing Jacob Messer, had a run-scoring double. It gave the Browns the 4-3 win.
"This place was rocking at the end," Durán said.
