5 Straight Wins for Piranhas
|
Panama City starter Pat Butler had a strong outing against the Oakland Oaks at The Tank. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. Jason Cannon picked up the save, his 1st. The Piranhas, now 5-0, have been playing some good baseball.
Amani Marwan dealt the Oaks a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Panama City leading 3-2, Marwan hit a 1-0 slider for a 2-run single.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Butler told the Panama City Daily.
