Bullets Top Stingers, 2-0, Behind Bravenboer
|
Sake Bravenboer never let Toledo get something going. The Baltimore right-hander commanded his changeup in pitching the Bullets to a 2-0 win. Donald Nexport earned his 1st save in 1 tries. With the win, Baltimore upped its record to 54-52.
Bravenboer, a native of Montaña Abou, Curaçao, was dealing all game. He kept Toledo hitters off-balance, while giving the Bullets 8 quality innings. Bravenboer threw 104 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 4.
