The Toledo Stingers got a superb performance from pitcher Ricky Sellers, but the Ft. Worth Cattlemen still won the game, 5-2. Sellers threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball. The losing skid has reached 8 games for Toledo.

Ft. Worth used the timely hitting of Kolby Hay to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cattlemen on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Hay told the Ft. Worth Times.
