Billy Goats Rally For 7-3 Win
The Colorado Billy Goats picked up a win at Baltimore Grounds, taking down the Baltimore Bullets, 7-3. Starting pitcher Gregory Collins was a big reason why. Ales Kretky, credited with the win, is now 4-2. He allowed no runs on no hits. The Billy Goats saw their win-loss record go to 55-40. At the same time, the Bullets fell to 48-47.

Colorado used a clutch hit from Ed Mellor to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Billy Goats ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

Mellor called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
