Peralta Goes 5-for-5 Against Capital Hill
Saturday, June 3rd , 2045
It was a sensational day at the plate for Canonniers de Quebec left fielder Ramiro Peralta, but a tough one for the team, as the Canonniers de Quebec dropped the contest 9-5 to the Capital Hill Interns.
Even with the loss, Peralta was pure misery for the Capital Hill pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-5 in an explosive display of hitting.
"It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Peralta, who is the 18-year old left fielder .
"Peralta really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Interns manager Bill Callahan told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Ramiro Peralta singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This year Peralta is hitting .322 with 29 hits, 1 home run, 8 RBIs and has scored 18 runs.
