2045 SR Best Player, Quebec City's Valdéz

He may have less experience than most of his USSL Rookie peers, but that didn't slow Terry Valdéz down at all in 2045.
At the age of 21, the Quebec City center fielder has been named the winner of the USSL Rookie Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .317 batting average and a .377 on-base percentage this year. In 96 games he piled up 115 hits, 18 doubles, 7 triples, 18 home runs, 75 RBIs and 52 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Casey Vincent of the Quebec City Baby Blues finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Arturo Collazo of the Quebec City Baby Blues finished third with 1 first place vote.
