He may have less experience than most of his USPL Rookie peers, but that didn't slow Teddy York down at all in 2045.

At the age of 22, the Germantown second baseman has been named the winner of the USPL Rookie Most Valuable Player Award.

He had a .295 batting average and a .357 on-base percentage this year. In 87 games he piled up 104 hits, 12 doubles, 2 triples, 29 home runs, 94 RBIs and 65 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Chris Bruce of the Fort Knox Centennial finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Raúl Fuentes of the Long Island Ducks finished third with 2 first place votes.
