Amarillo's Chambon Sidelined for Season Wednesday, August 2nd , 2045 The season is ending on a bad note for André Chambon, starting pitcher for the Amarillo Warheads. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Chambon was hurt against the Athletic Club KC U-21 while throwing a pitch. He suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 8 months. Presently Chambon has a 0-4 mark in 7 starts with a 2.92 ERA. He has given up 36 hits in 37 innings, struck out 27 and issued 11 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .252 batting average against him. |
