U-21 Rojas to Miss Year Sunday, July 16th , 2045 Athletic Club KC reliever Albert Rojas could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn rotator cuff. He exited yesterday's Germantown game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Rojas would be out 4 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." This season Rojas has chalked up no saves, notched a 4-3 record with a 3.47 ERA, allowed 48 hits in his 57 innings of work, struck out 60 and walked 17. Opponents are hitting .234 against the Athletic Club KC hurler. |
