York Shows Off, Hits for Cycle
Saturday, June 24th , 2045
Teddy York showed off his speed, his power and his plate discipline today at Ballpark of Wellsville, putting together all facets of his game to hit for the cycle in the Germantown win.

The 21-year-old second baseman went 5-for-6, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 2 home runs to help the Uruguayans top the Ladue Rams by a score of 15-3. A jubilant York told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable."

"Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-6 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible."

For the day, York finished with 2 runs batted in and 4 runs scored to go with his 5 hits.

Teddy York doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Norberto Dávila in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Scott Hoffman in the 9th.

Currently York has 11 home runs and a .273 batting average.
