Uruguayans Keng and Rams Dávila Suspended for Fight Saturday, June 24th , 2045 Yesterday at Ballpark of Albuquerque Ta-hye Keng and Norberto Dávila got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Germantown Uruguayans and Ladue Rams. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Keng will have to sit out 4 while Dávila would be given a 9-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. This season Keng is hitting .346 with 47 hits, 7 home runs, 31 RBIs, scored 41 runs and played in 43 games. |
