PL AA Championship to Mercer Island Tuesday, September 26th , 2045 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, that meant the USPL Double A PL AA Championship trophy. The Screaming Eagles took a 8-5 victory over the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis at Mercer Island Grounds, winning their 14th championship after taking the series 3-2. "We've got grit," said Screaming Eagles catcher Juan Tilve, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
