Bethesda Loses Zhenya Gospodyni, Will Miss Season Tuesday, September 5th , 2045 The season is finished for Zhenya Gospodyni of the Bethesda Atoms. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Atoms starting pitcher suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Athletic Club KC Academy. Team doctors said it would take at least 11-12 months to heal. To this point in the season Gospodyni has 2 wins and 4 losses and a 2.95 ERA. |
