Secada Rockets 3 HR Against Squirrel Hill Sunday, September 3rd , 2045 Diego Alejandro Secada went yard three times in a Northville Eclipse victory over the Squirrel Hill Pierogis at Old-Timers Park today. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Northville first baseman went 3-for-3 against Squirrel Hill with 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Eclipse to the 15-2 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Diego Alejandro Secada walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Eugene Kelly in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Eugene Kelly in the 5th, hit a sac fly in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Carlos Guerrero in the 8th. Thus far this year Secada has hit .267 with 4 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
