Pájaro's Strong Week Earns SAA Trophy

22-year-old Ernesto Pájaro made a few Tacoma headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort.
He cracked 7 hits in 16 at-bats to put up a .438 average. Pájaro collected 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 5 runs.
