Week's Premier Performer Honored by SAA Monday, August 21st , 2045 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Reynaldo García of the Asheville Highlanders reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. García rocked opposing pitching for a .857 average (6-for-7), no home runs and 2 RBIs to come away with the award. For the season García is hitting .252, batted in 16 runs with 1 home run and 13 runs scored. |
