Super Swinger -- Rankin Slams 5 Hits Tuesday, July 18th , 2045 Thanks to Roland Rankin and his big bat, the Miners derailed the Gulf Coast Turbeaus 8-2 today at Mobile Home Park. The Marquette second baseman had a standout game with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Roland Rankin tripled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Rankin has 1 home run and a .215 batting average.
