Bruce Pounds 3 HR Against Rails Monday, June 19th , 2045 Marquette Miners bombardier Tom Bruce set his sights on the stands and blasted three balls over the fence as his club took a 8-3 win over the Richland Rails today. "I guess you could say I was a good guesser today, especially on the last one," Bruce told writers in the postgame press room. "I was ahead in the count, so I gambled that I'd get a certain pitch, and got all of it." For the game, the Marquette right fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 3 runs.
