SAAA Awards Outstanding Hitter Award, Espinoza Gets Prize Monday, October 9th , 2045 The future looks extremely bright for Fernan Espinoza. At the age of 25, many players are still trying to find their way in USSL Triple A. Espinoza has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USSL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .256 this year, that's for sure," the center fielder said. The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds star also put up a .353 on-base percentage this year, with 88 hits, 18 doubles, 2 triples, 29 home runs, 73 RBIs and 64 runs scored. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Chandler Schroeder of the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Adam Lee of the Norfolk Pajaritos finished third.
