League Suspends White and Boyd for Brawl Thursday, September 14th , 2045 If there wasn't a history between Donald White of Norfolk and John Boyd of Milton, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 3 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," White said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Currently White is batting .204 with 18 home runs, 56 RBIs and 43 runs scored. On the season Boyd has a 4-1 record with a 5.34 ERA. |
