Alfonzo Grabs PAAA Outstanding Pitcher Award Monday, October 9th , 2045 The Alaskan Humpbacks have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Augusto Alfonzo, this year's USPL Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Alfonzo compiled a 11-3 record in 22 starts, tallied 100 strikeouts in 112.1 innings and recorded a 2.08 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .229 batting average against him. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sean Kennedy of the Alaskan Humpbacks finished second in voting, while Jing-quo Ts'ai of the Jersey City Tritons finished third.
