Hodge Strokes 3 HR Against Tortolita

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Drummers Ballpark buzzing, Pennsauken Flyers first baseman Steve Hodge blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 12-8 win over the Tortolita Drummers.
"Everything was clicking," Hodge told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Hodge shined brilliantly in the win, with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Flyers manager said. "Steve played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Steve Hodge hit a two-run home run off Lorenzo Carregosa in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Lorenzo Carregosa in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Noah Keyte in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
Hodge has a .230 average and a .322 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 46 hits, 14 home runs and driven in 40 runs.
