Montés Sensational, 5-for-5 Wednesday, July 26th , 2045 Jaime Montés exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Jersey City Grounds. The Jersey City center fielder had a field day in the 5-4 triumph over the Athletic Club KC Reserves, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Montés must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Jaime Montés hit a solo-shot off Jorge Guarte in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
