Jersey City's Rojas PAAA Star of the Week Monday, July 10th , 2045 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Triple A, but last week Esteban Rojas of the Jersey City Tritons reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rojas rocked opposing pitching for a .529 average (9-for-17), 3 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Rojas is batting .274 with 40 hits, 7 home runs, 29 RBIs, 13 walks, .333 OBP and has scored 19 runs. He has played in 37 games. |
