Apelama Throws 7-0 Shutout Monday, June 5th , 2045 Hakumele Apelama bent a little, but he didn't break against the Florida Men. The Port Huron Blitzkrieg pitcher hurled a 4-hit 7-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering 1 walk and tallying 5 strikeouts. "Hakumele is good at getting out of jams," Blitzkrieg manager Harrison Blackford told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you." So far this season, Apelama has a 1-3 won-lost record with no saves.
