Horton Shuts Out Sunset District Saturday, August 12th , 2045 It wasn't easy but the Austin Black Mambas made it look that way. Starter Kyle Horton shut out the Sunset District Fog despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Austin Black Mambas cruised to victory, 7-0. Horton allowed only 4 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up." Taking a look at his season stats for 2045, Horton has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 3-2 won-lost mark with a 3.89 ERA.
