Wednesday, August 9th , 2045
The season is finished for Adam Bisset of the Baton Rouge Brass. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Brass third baseman suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Team doctors said it would take at least 9 months to heal.
Bisset has a .175 average and a .250 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 11 hits, 1 home run and driven in 7 runs.
