Top Pitcher Trophy Won by Divided Hileman Sunday, November 5th , 2045 The D.C. Divided have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Van Hileman, this year's United States Silver League Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Hileman compiled a 8-4 record in 21 starts, tallied 157 strikeouts in 125.1 innings and recorded a 3.81 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .229 batting average against him. Pat Butler of the Panama City Piranhas finished second in voting, while Ken Grant of the Nova Scotia Leviathan finished third. |
