Week's Top Player: Myrtle Beach's Islava Monday, August 14th , 2045 USPL Single A pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Félix Islava, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .500 for the week to win the PA Player of the Week Award. The Myrtle Beach center fielder cracked 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 4 home runs, drove in 11 runs and scored 7 times. Presently Islava is batting .261 and has collected 7 home runs, 26 RBIs, .338 OBP and scored 27 runs. |
