In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
Ed Mellor impressed in the 6-3 Colorado win over Baltimore. Mellor, who finished 4th in the SL in RBI with 73 last year, was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Magnus Belli earned the save, his 24th, for the Billy Goats.
Colorado took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Zhong-yan Zhang hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Billy Goats.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Zhang.
With the win, Colorado has a record of 48-42. Baltimore falls to 38-52.
