The Nova Scotia Leviathan beat the Kingston Township Knights, 2-1, at Cloverdale Legion Park. The win was due in part to first baseman Richard Trevithick, who went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. Tom DeHart got the save, his 28th in 32 chances. Nova Scotia is now 53-33, while Kingston Township is 26-60.

Nova Scotia used the timely hitting of Juan Neváres to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Leviathan on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

Neváres told a Nova Scotia Daily News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
