The Baltimore Bullets picked up a win at The Hollywood Bowl, taking down the Hollywood Shredders, 4-3. Starting pitcher Nolan Howard was a big reason why. Howard got the win, improving to 3-5. He allowed 3 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Howard allowed 2 runs. Baltimore's record now stands at 33-47, placing them 9th in the Silver League.
Baltimore relied on the bat of Gabriel Luzuriaga to get the win. The shortstop ripped a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bullets ahead, 4-0. For the game, Luzuriaga had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"We found a way to get it done," Howard said.
