Knights Take Down Dirty Reds, 3-2
San Mateo got a terrific performance from pitcher Sylvain Richard, but it wasn't enough to beat the Kingston Township Knights. Kingston Township won the Cloverdale Legion Park contest, 3-2. Richard threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The triumph makes Kingston Township 24-55.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 3rd and two out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when first baseman Vinnie Nuyten reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. The Knights went on to win.

"This win should put a little bounce in our step," said Nuyten.
